Situated in the quiet but convenient area of Winklematten on the outskirts of Zermatt, this unique apartment is ideal for family holidays. The nearest bus stop is located a 2 minute walk away, and it is a 5-7 minute walk to the Klein Matterhorn cable station, and a 10 minute walk into the village centre. There is also a pop up grocery shop, a restaurant/bar and a new children's play area in the immediate vicinity.
This 3rd floor property (no lift) is set over two floors with an internal staircase between the two levels. It comprises 4 double bedrooms of which 2 can be converted to twin beds if preferred. There are 4 bath/shower rooms, one of which is ensuite. On the first floor there is a small cosy lounge with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen ( dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine etc) and a dining area with ample space for 8 guests. This leads onto a balcony with south facing views of the stunning Matterhorn and the surrounding mountain. Two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are also on this floor. There are stairs leading up to a large entertaining space with a bar, fireplace, ample comfortable seating with sofas, small dining area, office area with desk and a large TV, DVD player etc. There is a large balcony leading off from the lounge again with spectacular uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn. There are a further two bedrooms and bathrooms on this floor, one of which is ensuite.
