Charming 2-room apartment, completely renovated in 2018, on the lower ground floor of a building in the Wiesti district. The apartment is 3 min. from the Sunnegga lifts, starting point to discover the ski slopes or hiking paths of Zermatt. The return in winter to the apartment can be done on skis. The area is quiet and you are 10 min. from Zermatt station. The house has a shared ski room and outdoor bicycle parking.
The Space:
The apartment is cozy, quiet and is located in a neighborhood close to everything. 40m2 are available for your stay; you can accommodate 2 people there. Everything has been renovated with a lot of love, in a "chalet" style, embellished with old-fashioned wood. The kitchen offers all possibilities of making "homemade" meals: Raclette oven, cheese and Chinese fondue set, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and rice cooker complete the kitchen equipment. We also offer bed linen, shower towels and kitchen towels for your stay. A Wi-Fi connection is at your disposal as well as a TV.
Guest Access:
next to the apartment is the ski room to store your skis and ski boots. Bikes can be stored in the bike park outside. There is also a foldable baby travel cot available. In the accommodation, you will have access to everything. Under the bed there are 2 storage boxes which are necessary for the housekeeper to store her supplies for the preparation of the accommodation for visitors.
The Neighborhood:
The Wiesti district is a very quiet area with old buildings and modern chalets. You will find a few restaurants there, such as the Walliserstube, the Calèche or Chez Heini. The electro-taxis will drop you off in front of the Hotel Holiday and the last stretch (approx. 150m) must be done on foot. The start of Sunnegga (Alpine Metro) is also in the same area. To get there on foot from the apartment, you have to go around the Les Mélèzes "B" building and join the Colosseo pedestrian path. You will arrive practically in front of the Christiania hotel and the departure of the Metro is approx. 300m below.
Getting Around:
Zermatt is a car free village. There are 2 bus lines that run through the village and connect the 3 departures of the Zermatt lifts: Matterhorn Paradise, Gornergrat and Sunnegga. The nearest departure of the e-Bus from the apartment is Wiestibrücke. The bus is free
Other Things to Note:
Zermatt is a car-free village and for this reason we cannot offer you parking near the apartment. Cars must be parked in Täsch and then take the shuttle train to Zermatt.
