Welcome to Wilhelm's hostel in Sellin! Our villa, built in 1902 in the most beautiful spa architecture, will be happy to welcome you in a prime location. Built in Art Nouveau style, it is one of the most beautiful houses in Sellin's main promenade, Wilhelmstrasse, which leads directly to the sandy, kilometer-long bathing beach on the famous Sellin pier. Here you can enjoy the charm of the golden twenties during your Rügen vacation. The age of the villa also has the disadvantage that we don't have the showers and toilets in the room. They are located half a floor below, are lockable and are always shared with 2 other rooms. The showers are single showers that can be locked. This is also the reason why the rooms are run as hostels. Wilhems comes from the name of the street on which the villa is located. This is Wilhemstrasse, which was named after the Prince zu Putus, who had this street built with its beautiful villas in the impressive spa architecture. Because of this street, over a hundred thousand guests come to Sellin every year, you can even live here!It is only approx. 300 m to the bathing beach with the pier on the Baltic Sea. The Ostseebad Sellin is part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Southeast Rügen with beautiful, unspoiled nature. There are numerous cycling and hiking trails in the surrounding area. The center of the Baltic Sea resort can be reached in approx. 100 m and the small train station for the “Rasenden Roland” is approx. 800 m away. In the center, various shops, shops and many restaurants invite you to linger. All rooms (max. 1 to 2 adults and a child in a travel cot, double bed, wash basin, chairs and table) have wireless Internet access and are individually and comfortably furnished with a heart.
