From Meersburg you can also go by boat, ferry or long-distance bus, from Uhldingen-Mühlhofen by train and the nearest airport is in Friedrichshafen.

A nice walk downhill will take you to the shore of Lake Constance in about 20-30 minutes or to the old town of Meersburg with its castle, palace, thermal baths, open-air and lakeside baths, promenade and pedestrian zone with numerous restaurants, cafes and small stores. Dear pedestrians and cyclists, please keep in mind that the way back is correspondingly uphill! In Daisendorf itself there is a supermarket (Rewe), bakeries, a pizzeria, inns and an ATM.
