In this quiet house, in the historic center of Brienz, you will feel comfortable. It has room for 4 people plus (free of charge) an infant up to 3 years. Pets are allowed. The owners have furnished the apartment with love. A lot is new, including the beds. Discover many details such as children toys and the kitchen with some groceries for a smooth start. You have a garden with dining area and a parking space at the house.
From the entrance door, it's one fly upstairs to the entrance area with work space and a space to play. From here you can go to the bathroom with bathtub or to the kitchen. It has a fridge with freezer, oven, electric cooker, kettle, rice cooker, toaster, raclette, fondue, coffee maker with nespresso capsules (some are there, and you can buy more at Migros or Coop in the village), milk frother, kettle, food processor, pots and dishes.
Continue to the living room which has 2 large sofas. One of them becomes a comfortable double bed at night. From the living room you go to the bedroom with a double bed.
On request we provide a high chair and a baby bed for children up to 3 years, free of charge.
On the ground floor you have access to the hall where you can store strollers, bikes or skis. From there you get to the garden area. 4 steps lead to your garden at the left, with a large round fire pit for your BBQ, a table with 4 chairs, a small table with 2 chairs, and 2 sun loungers.
Your apartment is in the middle of the house. Please be respectful to the residents in the upper and lower apartment. (no noise)
Enjoy beautiful hikes directly from the house or take a short drive to the Ballenberg Museum or the Giessbach waterfalls. Drive the scenic route along the lake to Interlaken or take a historic Lake Brienz ferry. Visit nearby towns or go skiing to Grindelwald, Hasliberg or Axalp.
In just 2 minutes you reach the charming Brunngasse and the lake promenade, where you can also swim. The supermarket Migros is 5 minutes away. The supermarket Coop, the train station, the ferry stop and the historic Brienzer Rothornbahn steam train are just a 15 minute walk away.
